The Old Tjörn Bridge Photo

Photographer’s Note

This is the old Tjörn Bridge, which did not become very old. It was ready for use in June 1960 but a foggy night in Jan 1980 it collapsed, because a ship went into one of the fundaments. Cars with in total nine people went down there, and got killed. Very quickly a new bridge was built, and ready for use in autumn 1981. But the first Tjörn Bridge, north of Gothenburg, was very beautiful and will always be in my memory.

Hello Monica,
A well composed image with good lines, seen from a good point of view!
I notice the age of the image and I'm surprised by the quality of colours, I guess this is scanned from slide...
...
And I wish that a HAPPY NEW YEAR will come your way!
