The Palace of Westminster, also known as the Houses of Parliament or Westminster Palace, in London is where the two Houses of the Parliament of the United Kingdom (the House of Lords and the House of Commons) meet to conduct their business. The Palace lies on the north bank of the River Thames in the London borough of the City of Westminster, close by other government buildings in Whitehall.
The palace is one of the largest Parliaments in the world. The layout of the Palace is intricate, with its existing buildings containing nearly 1,200 rooms, 100 staircases and well over three kilometres (two miles) of corridors. Although mainly dating from the 19th century, among the original historic buildings is Westminster Hall, used nowadays for major public ceremonial events such as lyings in state, and the Jewel Tower.
The Clock Tower is the world's largest four-faced, chiming clock. The structure is situated at the north-eastern end of the Houses of Parliament building in Westminster, London. It is almost universally called "Big Ben" — which is actually the main bell housed within the Clock Tower.

Hi Thomas, very well done composition on this image. You get some kind of rythem on it with the lamps at the fg and theroofs at the bg. The fog make it nicely misterious.

great composition. I like how you stressed the vertical lines of chosen motive, put the palace in the subtle background. Colours are just an accent to whole compo. Great work!

We're getting a lot of fog shots right now, but this is one of the best. Really imaginative angle, use of diagonals in the lamp posts, mix of lighting. I'm not completely happy with the tree, but I understand what you're doing with it there.

Beautiful composition with great atmosphere. The fog and the line of lamps gives this frame real depth. I have a feeling it would look better without some of the right side (will post workshop). Still, this piscture is very good.

Le brouillard Londonnien n'est pas une légende mais il peut donner des clichés plus que féerique. Très agréable composition soignée tout en finesse avec une belle fuyante dans l'alignement des lampadaires. Félicitations Thomas !

I very much admire your composition and light, but don't like the postcard like black framing... I think it detracts and is way too heavy for such a delicate image.
