A close up shot of snow from Cappadocia.
it was a bright day so I could use my macro zoom mode
which doesn't allow any flash.

Temperatures in Cappadocia are really crazy:
it can be +8 in the afternoon and -8 at night.
They say this is the reason why the snow forms structures like this. The surface of the snow is not even. If you look closer you can see trees, mountains etc a whole landscape of its own! Here's a part of this landscape.

Post-processing: cropped blurred areas, resized, sharpened a bit and adjusted highlights and shadows.

Senin adını görünce ne olduğunu bile anlamadan açtım fotoğrafı ama şaşkınlıktan dilimi yutacaktım :))
Hem tuz gibi hem de buz gibi. Mükemmel bir detay ve makro çekim. Oralarda genellikle peri bacaları çekerken senin bu detaylara odaklanman da ayrıca çok hoş. Tebrik ederim.

An interesting idea to take this closeup.The structure of the snow is indeed very strange and looks more like salt crystals than snow.

nice! we also can see suggar? or saltz? your macro zoom is a good one! I like such photo from details making a subject .

From the thumbnail view, I thought it is Pine trees cover in snow but I only realised it is actually a macro shot. A430 in Macro mode is excellent itself. With your idea together, simply artistic now.
