Castle of Evoramonte Photo

Photographer’s Note

I'm showing Évoramonte once more, maybe because I like this village.
This is part of the wall of the castle. In this place it forms a diagonal line almost leading to the sky. This wall was first built in the 14th century but it seems the area has been inhabited since pre-history.Within the walls we have the old village.
It was taken some time ago, on the same day I took the first ones I've posted here.

Hi Ana,
Good luminosity to highlight the textures and colors... the diagonal wall looks very nice, the olive trees and clouds add some softness contrasting with the hard stones.
Good colors and sharpness too, as usual.

Olá Ana,
Bonita esta imagem que aqui nos mostras, eu gosto especialmente do castelo de Évora monte por ser tão diferente da maioria dos existentes em Portugal, infelizmente ainda não tenho fotos "jeitosas" do sítio.
A diagonal em escada feita pela muralha funciona muito bem na divisão da imagem, bonitas cores e definição.

muito legal essa parte do castelo,a cho interesante a arquitetura deles, uma pena só a limitação do TE no tamanho do arquivo, senão o muro ia ficar bem mais detalhado. Gostei do céu também.

Bonjour Ana,
Very beautiful colors and good contrasts. The stone of walls catches well the sunlight. The cloudy sky completes perfectly this set full of history.

The composition of this photo is beautiful, with the crenellated wall on a slope. I also like the contrast between the colours of the stone, the olive tree, and the varied coloured sky!

Hi Ana,
although the aperture is quite open and the shutter speed is very fast the depth of the field is very good. The clarity and the light management are excellent. The diagonal line is great, indeed. The sky is really so beautiful!

lovely colours especially with a sky like that. The history is interesting too do you have pics of the old village as well
