Photographer’s Note

It was one freezing night at the feet of Cerro Torre, but it was well worth it. What can be seen is what happens in the first five minutes of sunrise. Before the light disappears again for quite some time, it lets the Peak appear glowing for a short while. The light then is obscured again by the Fitzroy Massive.

It's an extraordinary view of a wonderful mountain. You have been lucky in finding such a clear sky (usually the very top of the Cerro Torre is cloud covered) but also skillful to capture the exact moment at down with the top red enlightened.
I like very much your picture and i've done a workshop to point up the view on Cerro Torre. Hope you like it.

jolie composition, la lumière est superbe!
le format panoramique me plais bien mais je l'aurais un peu accentué en recadrant un peu, voir mon WS.
Dommage pour le manque de piqué.
