Photographer’s Note

Why stay in a packed place like Dubrovnik when only a few miles away in the Kotor bay lies Perast, a beautiful & calm village which used to control the narrowest passage of the Kotor bay. This strategic location brought enormous wealth to the village and you can see it through the architecture and the number of palaces. I don't remember how many ships this village used to possess but I'm quite sure there were at least as many as the number of inhabitants. Sailors coming from Perast were famous around the Mediterranean.
In the background you can see the Lovcen mountains, the highest peak rising above 1500 meters.

This place is paradise on earth and obviously millionnaires are buying the place out. Let's hope the place will keep it's incredible charm

Bonjour Warren,

votre photo me fait des emotions pour plusieurs raisons: il est vrai que Perast est irresistible pour sa position, sa lumiere, sa vue directe vers la haute mer. J'y ai mis le pas moi aussi et ce sont des souvenirs! La photo est bien placee de ce cote. Vous aviez le choix de monter deriere ou de prendre le bateau vers les deux ilots. Vous aviez un beau jour et vous avez fait un maximum. Je suis heureux de votre choix.
J,aime bien aussi votre travail en Chine. C'est votre point fort. Je crois que je reviendrai souvent revoir vos photos et j'attends avec impatience la suite.

I think you can increase contrast a bit, and saturate all channels for a few points.
also, use some sharpness filter next time, probably due to resizing, photo lost a bit of a sharpness
composition is classic for this POV, but very good. your note is superb and honest.
I do like your work here.

I like this view for the bay, buildings and mountains in the background. Good framed and lovely colours. Interesting and relaxing place indeed and I wolud like to visit it someday ;).

good travel shot though I believe if darker colors or darker sky would have appeared this scenery could seem better. nice really nevertheless
