Photographer’s Note

Why stay in a packed place like Dubrovnik when only a few miles away in the Kotor bay lies Perast, a beautiful & calm village which used to control the narrowest passage of the Kotor bay. This strategic location brought enormous wealth to the village and you can see it through the architecture and the number of palaces. I don't remember how many ships this village used to possess but I'm quite sure there were at least as many as the number of inhabitants. Sailors coming from Perast were famous around the Mediterranean.
In the background you can see the Lovcen mountains, the highest peak rising above 1500 meters.

This place is paradise on earth and obviously millionnaires are buying the place out. Let's hope the place will keep it's incredible charm
