Photographer’s Note

This photo was taken while crossing Galicia, my grandparents’ land in 1976. This sleeping medieval town between La Coruña and El Ferrol very much struck me.

Looking at this photo is like traveling back in history. I like the color of the sky, which fits the colors of the street and really brings the feeling of the past. Very nice photo, thanks.

Hola Ruben,
I like the old touch of this one. Must have been a good place to live, too. For me B&W would have been good, it´s not necessary to have a coloured sky.

Siempre está bien recuperar imágenes para el recuerdo y esta en concreto me parece una bonita escena con mucho encanto. Excelente luz y textura de la piedra.

Hola Ruben....

Esta foto me parece muy interesante... me gustan en especial los colores y la atmósfera que transmite... es una de esas fotos que cuentan algo especial. Supongo que el paso del tiempo tambien ayuda a recrear más esas sensaciones.

Hola Rubén:
Estupendo documento gráfico de otros tiempos. Me gusta especialmente la textura de las paredes y del suelo. Me imagino que la imagen procede de un escaneado de una copia en papel y que el escenario original habrá (desafortunadamente) cambiado.
La he añadido, por su valor testimonial, a mi tema sobre arquitectura popular española.
