Petit retour sur une sortie effectuée en Vanoise cet automne (et oui, ça change de la Chartreuse ! ). Ici au lever de soleil, dans une ambiance assez fraiche, la Grande Casse se pare d'une couleur qui ne laisse pas insensible ;-)

Une image superbe avec la lumiere excellente! I love the foreground grass and frozen water leading to the mountain basking in the sunlight! Great POV with excellent light, colors and details. Great work, Jean Luc!

Hi Jean,Fire & ice,I like the sun tipped mountains reflection in the ice of the foreground & the individual gives me a better understanding of the scale of this landscape.

Ce sommet aux couleurs chaudes ainsi que son reflet donne vraiment a cette image un autre sens, bravo !

The FG is full of interest and nicely exposed and the BG is also interesting beacause of the light on the mountain. Is that a person standing there with a back pack on?

Quelle ambiance! ... non seulement hivernal mais encore solennelle. J'aime bien le point de vue ici qui montre bien le contraste entre la glace d'étang et cette lumière chaude en arrière-plan. Une photo grandiose!

Jean Luc,
I like your composition! The iced over lake provides an interesting reflection of the mountain and sky. The lighting and colors are great with excellent sharpness and detail. The spotlighting of the distant mountain draws the eye through the photo.

Cette photo accumule une certain nombre de détails de qualité : herbes gelées, eau du lac avec une pellicule de grace, un être humain, une grande casse recevant le soleil bref tu as fait le plein !
(peut-être dommage que le photographe a un petit air de Quasimodo, bien que je n'ai rien contre lui)

the partially frozen pond/stream really changes the dynamics of the photo. It gives a sense of what time of year the photo was taken
