[Ligne directrice - Note] Note du photographe
It has been written many times how special Rannoch Moor is when it comes to the weather and it is so true. Vast open area where all kinds of weather can meet at the sime time, sunny spells, rainy patches, dark stormy clouds and bright fluffy clouds, even blue sky was appearing here and there. I think it is one of the best location for taking cloudscapes such as this one here, I took it from the road A82 after passing Glencoe and before Kings House Hotel. I think I've used around 8 photos (can't remember exactly) stitched together to create panoramic shot that allowed me to show most of variety and drama of the sky that day. I hope You will like it.

This is a striking, dramatic, and very well-executed rendition of your subject matter, Tomasz. The dark, hovering clouds truly dominate this panoramic landscape. I like the breadth of grays and blacks, the hovering over the hills, and your choice to have a very big sky and just a slender hint of horizon, further emphasizing the dominance of the weather.

Nicely done!

P.S. -- A large post would be welcome for this one, if you care to do it.
Jim

I vote in favor that you present a Panoramic view of these clouds. Talk about drama!

Hello, Tomasz!
It is superb shot. The clouds are amazing in their power and strong beauty. Thank you for sharing!

Katya.

Hello Tomasz.
Your panoramic crop is very powerful in creating a sense of space, and making the enormous cloud so dynamic and threatening. You need a photo about 3 times this size to really appreciate it, or even bigger. But great shot.
Regards,
Andrew
