Venice canals: work in progress
 |
|
| [Ligne directrice - Note] Note du photographe |
This is just a documentation of the upkeeping of a Venice street, a "canale"! With pumps and two enclosures they dry the canal and replace the old trunks that support the houses (look at the left side: the lime green musk on the old ones). Then they refilled the canal and the game is up!
Not a great photo (just beyond the net of a building yard) but I think you can find it interesting! |

This is an interesting shot Laura. The idea of looking through the fence/net is good. The man on the planks of wood gives us an idea of scale. The biggest problem is of course the blurriness. I'm not sure if it the result of scanning or if it was just out of focus or too slow of a shutter speed. Other than that it is an interesting post.
Regards,
Ryan

AL
dear Laura Torsellini,
a very realistic and fantastic too, it is really ambivalent...
this ambience is tasteful and literary for my eyes.
I like this tone of colors that is expressive, also blurred and dim quality of the iamge too.
(needless to say, in photography the feeling is essential, other elements are not)
thank you,
Akihisa
P.S. I'll try WS to enhance the light, only my trial, your original shot is excellent.
