Petra is sometimes called 'the Rose City' because of the colour of rocks in which Petra is carved. In several places you can find a mixture of different colours creating fascinating patterns.

Fantastiques ces couleurs de la pierre, cela donne une photo vraiment étonnante!Je crois que j'aurais peut-être sacrifié le haut de l'image pour supprimer ce coin de ciel blanc qui perturbe (pour moi...) l'équilibre chromatique de la photo?

I don't think I have ever seen the Petra stone formations so close-up - the effect is superb! The cropping to square format works well and you have achieved excellent colour and sharpness, which is crucial for success with this subject.

Michal,
I have seen so many shots form Petra that I had the impression that no one would be able to surprise me with a photograph taken there anymore. Well, you just did! Outstanding! The door (?) in the background gives me an idea of scale, but I think that including someone in an advantageous moment could have enhanced this shot even more.
I will take this inot my favorites as a reminder for when I go there!
