do you know what language is it?
there is a very old house in my village in NWFP Pakistan. i saw this rock with these carvings on it in the corner of that house and i think its greek, but how and why did anyone wrote greek? if its really greak then its probably related to Alexander, who was deafeted in NWFP province of pakistan.
If you guys understand what does these carvings mean? or you know which language it is please let me know. its undiscovered and no one exept a few people of the village knows about it.

oh that was my father work to read old stones... he's dead since 20 years.... but I'll try to find some work friend of him to help you

Never know what might turn up on TE. It's always good to learn history and about cultures. Amazing rock and I hope someone sheds light on this.

These things are very important and having great value both in term of history and money. if you are in possession of this stone, then it is better to take this picture to Peshawar University, in Archealogy department, There you will surely find some professors who can read it and tell you the historical significance of this picture.

As you Know the are of Peshawar Valley, Charsada, Mardan and then to Gilgit and the other way to Taxila was the old headquarter of Buddhism and many old remains are still available in these areas, so it must be connected to those.may be its Karoshti Language but I am not sure, as Karoshti was written in a different way and mostly available on leafs that dated back to 2000 years ago.

Nice capture my friend and interesting subject, but it's not greek..actually. Yes Greeks arrived till Pakistan & Afganistan, but ...no greek here, galantis
