Here's a winding river that I thought resembled a dragon, complete with legs, horns and even little wings on top. Exposure is a bit off, but you can still see the shape pretty clearly. This dragon wasn't breathing fire that day, but you could see puffs of smoke :)
Taken on a flight from New York to Dallas-Fort Worth, probably somewhere over Kentucky.
Reposted after making adjustments to enhance the photo.
Update 08-Apr-2008: I found it on Google Earth! Coordinates are: 36 53 16.43 N 86 05 03.96 W. You can rotate the view about 115 degrees CCW, and flatten it a little bit as well. |

Comparing to your previous upload, contrast is much better here. It's always difficult to get good quality photo from high flying aircraft., but here result is quit good.

Hi Lamberto! I think this is a very good photo, even if it's a little fuzzy on the top left! But of course, it's the puffs of smoke isn'it? :))! What river would that be, and where does it disappear in the bottom right?
TFS.
MarieLouise.

Good shot.
