Ok....so here I go again. Let me put some pictures of Ludhiana, the city where I am living for the last six years. Through these pictures I'll try to explore the history, culture and life of Ludhiana.

This picture was taken today itself while driving through the farms to see ruins of an old fort outside Ludhiana. I found this one really interesting.
Let me do some research on the city and I'll post some pictures along with useful notes.
Meanwhile enjoy this picture taken at around 12.30 in the afternoon in sharp sunlight on a road leading to the village "Rajgarh" where the old ruins of a fort are situated.

Heya Hem!

A great one! One of my favorites of Ludhiana, a great rural scene, captured very nicely. Fine colors, but of course the major factor here is the motive, which is A OK.

See you.

Very well framed shot of this daily life moment in the village. Nice rich colors too - well done.

Dave

Hi Hemant,
A truly fantastic shot! Brings out the rural India I so miss to see. Even though the light conditions were hard, you managed to have great clarity in your subject.
Well done,
Shaeri

Hello Hemant!

Beautiful daily life scene, excellent diagonal perspective created by the road, and great overall composition! Despite the "dumpy" atmosphere, the colours are beautiful! Congratulations!

Best regards,
Hercules

I did not know that you were living in Ludhiana, happy to discover the countryside of that part of India where I did not return that often (I had forgotten how attractive it can be) : great subject, I would have tried to lighten up a bit the faces though - but otherwise I like the colours and the trees in the BG,
Compliments and greetings,
Cath.

Hemant,
Nice catch !
I like a lot the technical parameters here, and how you enhanced the loneliness of these men and their animals.
Regards,
JB.
