[Ligne directrice - Note] Note du photographe
While on photohunt at Mabu Island late afternoon, this episode of documentary touched my heart when I heard baby cries, and I must post it to share with you. You see, there was this Sea Bajau mother pushing her boat not too far from where I stood and I was drawn to it by the loud and sharp baby cries. I turned and watched, there was a baby girl crawling in front of the mother, while a boy was climbing out of sea water onto the boat.

I pointed my camera to this scene and shot this view. It is a case of the great mother's love for her baby. The mother raised her hand, paused her stick for a few seconds. To see what happened next, please look at the Workshop.

A Sea Bajau mother's love. It is universal, regardless of who she is, where she is and what she is. The four letter word - LOVE.

Thank you for viewing. Regards, Bill

It is a great story the one you are telling us with the two shots. Thanks for that.
The picture is quite good in POV and colours but is has a minor flaw which is the slightly tilted horizon.

Hi Bill,
Wonderful!!!! Not only photographically, but from a human point of view. I loved the way you continued the story in the WS. This is a special realtion, from the cozy home of a millionare to a challenging enviornment like this, the bottomline of the realtion remins the same--- love and care.
Beautifully done, my friend.
Regards,
Sagarneel.

Hi Bill,

Maria

Hi Bill,
very interesting image of this fisherman and their boats, but I prefer the WS image. In original image the colors are best too. Great work.
Congratulations and Hug!

Hello Bill. I was saying that you did excellent documentation of photojournalism and you have proven it right again here. I have seen this image followed by the ws and both images and note are well written complementing well for the scene. Well done and best regards. Jusni

Beautiful colours and contrasts and clear image. An interesting story, well doucmented.
Best wishes,
Achim

Hi Bill,
Simple daily life scene. I wonder if all their belongings travel on that boat. Mother and kids on a little boat on open sea. Leaves me almost speechless.

Hello Bill,
It is initially a beautiful photograph, and then a superb scene of everyday life of a Malaise family. The realization is excellent.
Have a nice day

Hi Bill,
It is a nice documentary shot. I felt happy looking at it. Is there a slight tilt in the horizon, or I am too tired and imagining it?
Regards,
Shaeri

Hi Bill,
I can identify. Not that I spend my time on a boat. But mother's love is so true! Your photo captures it perfectly. It's sharp and wonderful - great colors, strong emotions. Thanks!
Linda
