hi Mokaddem!
nice attempt, but u have fallen short. first, no part of your main subject is in focus. when trying to photograph bugs and insects, try to focus on the eyes. that is a safe option as due to very shallow DOF, it is not possible to keep the whole insect in focus.
secondly, your composition could have been better. try to follow the rule of thirds.
you have got a nice smooth bokeh though.
keep trying, u will get there.
were u using the 18-55mm kit lens with your camera?

Hi Mokaddem,
I always have mixed feelings about such photos. Apart from obvious technical issues that nabarun has already pointed out, there is the key question: what does it tell about the world? I think this picture fits TrekNature more, because that site is dedicated to nature itself. TE is dedicated to learning about the world, that means people and places, and if it means animals or plants, then only when they are supplied with some informative note, eg. telling us that they are endangered or typical to some area. To me this grasshopper is quite common - I mean you can find them not only in Bangladesh, but all around the world as well, meaning that this particular picture could have been shot almost anywhere else in the world.
