Ce dimanche, c etait le concours de peche, du trou le plus rapidement fait dans la glace, de sculpture sur glace pour les familles. En Russie, c est l annee de la famille.

Bonsoir Francine!
J'espère que ton temps en Yakoutie se passe bien. Je vais voir ton blogue de temps en temps.
Voici ce que je pense de ta photo. D'abord, je crois qu'il s'agit d'un point de vue très particulier et original. Tu étais juchée sur un banc ou tout simplement debout pour le voir ainsi "d'en haut"? Très intéressant, je trouve. Et ça met bien en valeur et l'homme et le trou. J'aime aussi cette cigarette qui pendouille. ;) Et bien sûr, son visage rieur.
Par contre, il y a quelques petits problèmes, à mon avis. J'aurais aimé avoir ses deux yeux. Peut-être également le bout de son pied gauche, bien que ce soit moins problématique, quoi qu'il semble avoir une chaussure très particulière! Ensuite, je crois que l'accentuation (sharpening) est peut-être un chouia trop fort (légère ligne plus pâle dans les régions de contraste.
Continue à te geler les doigts pour nous rapporter d'autres petits bijoux!

Hello Francine,
Very well choosen pov which gives us a close-up view from the man and the way is fishing through that small hole. Taken last week, winter was still there. Will take awhile before spring arrives.

Well, I think is a good picture with a not usual subject.
But it is interesting and you made a good work with a funny but interesting POV.
The timming is good too and he looks he doesn't mind your presence there.

Une belle image sur les activités de pêche sous la glace.
J'aime la composition, en revanche, je trouve que t'aurais dû desaturer les bleus afin que la neige soit blanche.

Bonjour Francine, elle est très sympa cette photo rapprochée, qui nous montre un des loisirs pratiqués un peu partout je pense en Russie lors de l'hiver... J'espère que tout se passe bien au cours de ton voyage en Yakoutie !

Ice fishing can be great fun, but cold too!
This guy is obviously sitting in the open air but then temperatures are not that harsh in April...
I like the bold framing, adding dynamics to the composition!

avec ce genre de pêche on a pas besoin de gros matériel, le cadrage serré nous montre l'essentiel de cette technique.

This is a great Point of view, and the guy looks pretty happy about the fishing, although I can't imagine that it is very big fish he is going to haul through that tiny hole.
