RECIFE : a rainy day (II) Photo

Photographer’s Note

Boa Vista Bridge, old downtown, Recife.
I took that picture during a rain storm inside the car (obviously)through the windshield, last Sunday.
It is NOT a black and white photo. It was about noon but the sky was very gray as if it was getting darker for the night...( Night at noon ! )
I would apreciate if you also take a look in two Workshops that I´ll be posting soon! Thank you.
Boa Vista Bridge has its main structure made totaly in iron (in England) and was set in Recife in 1876 as a link between old sections of the city, Santo Antonio and Boa Vista areas over the Capibaribe River.

Olá Nivaldo,

'aterrorizante' imagem. A imagem passa uma sensação de frio e enclausuramento profunda. Gostei de ver os detalhes das gotas d'água sobre o vidro e a profundidade de campo com o fundo desfocado. Bela imagem!

uma foto nostálgica que nos faz parar e pensar um pouco na vida enqunto o nosso olhar se perde nas gotas de água a atravessar o vidro.Uma perspeciva diferente desta ponte.

Oi Nivaldo!
Você publica tão rapidamente que não consigo acompanhar! Volte nessa aqui porque é muito diferente do que costuma fazer. Além do mais um dia assim é raro em Recife, e merece registro! O grafismo ficou bom, a conversão para o pb é acertada e a chuva como elemento é bem legal, transmitindo bem aquela sensação de dias como esse.

Except that I would be doing the driving when the weather is like this, and I would not be able to take the photograph myself, I am very happy to see such a self-explanatory picture. It is excellent, a downpour! But now, who was driving?

legal esta composição em p&b, a água escorrendo dá um ar impreciso e as linhas da ponte criam um belo grafismo. Eu cortaria um pouquinho da área superior para dar mais força ao aspecto gráfico. belo trabalho

Hello Nivaldo,

I like the atmosphere in this photo, and the almost abstract composition. There is an interesting interplay between the geometric nature of the bridge and the organic nature of the rain drops: hard lines, soft raindrops!
