Sailing in Denmark Photo

Photographer’s Note

Denmark is made up of one peninsula (Jutland) and more than 500 inhabited islands. The relatively small country has more than 5000 kilometers of coastline, some of it facing the North Sea, some facing east into the Baltic, and most of it facing inland waters with a steady breeze, and absolutely ideal for sailing from marina to marina, and from island to island, enjoying the sea and the land.
This is on the east coast, in the Baltic, and the cliff in the background is Stevns Klint which is a chalk and limestone cliff that was formed 65 million years ago. So when you navigate here, you are looking at something that was there together with the last dinosaurs.
I resized, sharpened and colour enhanced with Paint Shop Pro (that I finally got hold of, thank you Norbert).

Hi Per - welcome in the club (PSP :-) You did a very fine shot here - I actually tried this a lot of times lately - but haven't got anything worth posting - I very fine background you got as well - this must taken from your boat - I must concider getting one of my own - Thanks for letting us see this nice work.

Very nice to see your first PSP-enhanced photo, Per ;-) It looks very crisp and fresh, just as a photo with this seaside kind of subject should. Compo-wise, it's good that the sailing boat has space on the right to go into, and the background with the buildings and windmills is not bad at all either. Well done.
