Hi Lucian, nice picture, great expression of the priest, just a pity that the focus is on the wall more than on his face, but you captured a great moment, chau chau,

Maria

Cred ca totusi si tu ai avut ceva amintiri frumoase din acea excursie,at least I hope
numai bine

Hi Lucian,

Impressiv shot.....it's an absorbing one, I like it, the frame is good and the atmosphere looks like special, very special...Maybe the photo is a little bit blurry, but it s really not importante

Hi Lucian
Very impressive picture. You get a very difficult light from behind the priest, but the result is excellent.
I like the serenity of the atmosphere
Beautifull work
Congratulations
Bertrand

Hi, Lucian -

Impressive portrait, and good handling of a difficult lighting situation. B&W was also a good choice.

I think you should experiment with different crops and see what they do to the picture. (I tried a couple myself, but you don't allow workshops, so I can't post them.) As for the slight blur - which is very blur - you might also consider playing with it: Add more blur (Gaussian) for effect, or try to increase the graininess to give a sense of antiquity. Lots of possibilities here.

Regards,
Dan

Hi Lucian,

you have only one page but it's enough to tell you that you have a great gallery and I can see your fine work on those ones. You go far away with that, believe me! Very nice b&w portrait. The image by itself is more than thousand words. I really like the impression that it brings. Well done!

Hello Lucian,
Quite a good moment surprised. Good framing and B&W also. You chose well your protagonist.
Greetings,
Dani

quality not so good,bad actually
What??? Ok, we are so used to hyper-sharpness. We ask for sharpness (read the reviews on lenses and cameras, read the critiques in photography sites like TE and you will know what I mean!). And yet...
We should pray for content. We should pray for meaningfulness. We should pray for guts. To me, this photo is way more good than many sharp photos. I see a priest in his world, with the "divine" (!) light lightening his face. And that's good to me. There is atmosphere in there, the light, the wood, the book and this priest with his hand opened to 'receive' the Word, the chasuble, the white beard and hair, his attentive look... All that is meaningful to me...
On the nitpick side, I would have crop or clone the white line, left side. Very little thing...
I like your people photos... ;)
Claire
