i reached there first by a long train trip along amazon river, and then took a bus to the top to Machu Picchu. But it is for sure better to go through inka trail by walking which takes 2 or 4 days, it depends on your trail choise;) i didnt have time.
it is an amazing, breathtaking place...

it is written in the history books that it was built around the year 1450, but our peruian guide told us that peruians believe that it was built before christ,

Machu Picchu means "old mountain" at inka language, and the two other mountains names; the short one on the left is baby mountain and the tall one is young mountain.:))
