Photographer’s Note
about the healing process...
this girl as been treated for a wound provoked for a splinter of land mine.
....................................................
I am not hopeless.
Now the war is over. However the large amount of land mines spread all over the country (more then one per capita)it's a major problem to the people trying to return to their lands.
Time flies and people's life remains conditioned to this and other problems.
I wish one day Angola became full of joy and happiness.

I may say: That face shows everything and more... much more...
The bad luck of being born in that place...
Among those people...
He is still very innocent, but... In a few years
she'll become as powerful wrongdoer as her father or mother and the the father of his father and the father...
She will hurt people around her ( in trying of not to be hurt by them first!)...
Ces't la vie ...
