[Ligne directrice - Note] Note du photographe
These street kids sitting in a rubber trash bin are anything but trash. Their bright smiles and cheerful dispositions belie their poverty and hardship. How they can be so happy when you think about their circumstances just demonstrates, again, the resiliance of youth.

Hello Mark,

Wonderful moment with great smiles. I like the diagonal line of the youth in you composition. I only wish you had included a bit more of the upper left to show more of their hands and shoulder.

Enjoyable to view.
Bill

Hi Mark,
I was attracted by the photo title to your photo, but indeed it's a nice shot which captures their smiles well in this poor country. As with the previous comment, I would like to have seen all of their bodies included in the photo, but this way it does make some nice lines.

Good to see some bins in Cambodia! When I went here some 3 months ago, whilst I enjoyed it immensely due to the wonderful and friendly people, I also found it to be the most littered and polluted country I've ever visited. The people simply didn't seem to understand that using any available ground space as a bin is a bad thing which will have consequences in their future - though in fact Phnom Penn where you've taken this photo is the cleanest of all their cities.
Great shot, and thanks for sharing!
Regards
Lee
