Photographer’s Note
Walking through the market area of Sao Tome, I turned the coner to see a sea of yellow taxi cabs. It seems as if nobody owns a car, but everyone takes taxis everyplace.

Hello René,
An interesting and quite typical view from the so called Third world. The maze of yellow cabs have created an almost cubistic pattern. Well seen.

This is the first time I see a picture from São Tomé e Príncipe. I have been there some 40 years ago, during a sea travel from Lisbon in Portugal to Lobito in Angola. I still remember to go by small boat from our ship to the town of São Tomé. Thanks for bringing back some good memories. This is a very typical view of an African town, where the chaotic traffic is normal life. Well done.
Antonio

This picture is really good, a "sea of yellow cabs". It is showing the dynamics of quotidiane life in the São Tomé City centre, near the Municipal Market
