Photographer’s Note
Leh, Leh-Ladakh - altitude 3500 m
I met this Belgian cyclist by chance in the Main Bazaar in Leh. He riding on the touring bike trekking model Koga-Miyata World Traveler, must have energy that endures severe cloud of dust and automobile exhaust, for traveling around Ladakh where is the highest plateau in India with much of it being over 3,000 m, spans the Himalayan and Karakoram mountain ranges.
Taken from low angle for featuring his burly leg and the bike with full equipment in the background of the craggy mountain in Leh, at the Main Bazaar, at 13:58.

Hi Hisashi!
Some sportsmen assume challenges that the rest of mortals we are incapable to reach.
In this scene you show to the effort, the dream and the passion and the reward to us to obtain what one this looking for with the splendid smile of the traveller who knows and learns than he is finding in the way.
All this from a very good photographic point of wiev so that it fills to us of details when we observed your wonderful capture, in detail and definition.
See you Hisashi! Jordi

Hi, Hisahi,
What a scene. I would love to undertake this kind of adventure. I'm a cyclist, but I know I would never be strong enough to attempt what this guy is doing.
Nice spontaneous portrait. All the details are there: man, machine, mountain.
Best, -Hugh

I must say there is a clear evidence of Steve McCurry influence upon your creativity, Hisashi…
The way you try to approach the subject… The colors issue in your presentations… The POV…
A gallery definitively worth watching and leave a word or two within…
All the best, pal.
Be in touch

Hello Hisashi,
This poor belgian is completely lost. Hasn't he realised that he went a bit too far after taking the second exit between Bruges and Liege?! Sorry Hisashi, I'm just beeing French, we love to make fun of the Belgians.
It's quite a good idea to take this picture from a low angle with a wide angle. Lovely dynamic sky behind him and a flair of the local life as well.
Well done
Estelle
