Photographer’s Note

This is very close to the "entrance" of Panta Vrehei canyon one of the most beautiful places in Greece in my humble opinion. The first hundreds meters of river trekking are quite easy, given that water reaches up to your ancles. Further down, inside the canyon things are getting a little bit more dificult with the cold water reaching up to your chest (See WS 1 and WS 2).

But when your reach the "heart" of the canyon with the dozens of waterfalls to your left and to your right, you 'll surely feel rewarded (CHECK HERE)

Hi Hercules, yes the place looks great, and different. it must be a good sense to feel the water while trekking.. i like the natural colors too, and the people give information about the size of the place, very welldone!

reflected colours are very particular and it really seems you are walking on copper!

Ahhhh... tienes una luz envidiable en la foto (hablo de Electra).

La foto es buena... aunque creo haberla visto con anterioridad.
Eso no es problema, claro.
Me gusta mucho la foto, kalo, kalo.

He de reconocer que el objetivo que usas ayuda mucho a la foto... pero incluso así es más importante la mano que maneja la cámara que no el objetivo.

fantastic colors in this wonderful place; your pic is perfect; i have done such a journey at acheron delta in epirus, it´s quite an expierience, however, lost there my camerafunction by swimming through a deeper part in that gorge...thanks a lot...

Hercules, this is an awesome presentation. The shot is great, the work shops are great and really add a lot to the overall, and the link to the grouping of the shots from the valley really makes your case for going there. I want to know how you pack your camera to keep it dry and safe while doing this.

You captured marvellous lights and reflections as real gold in photography. Excellent usage of wide angle creates splendid view while including copper colored ridges with very good depth. Hello Hercules,

This is such an unusual photograph!
Whereas most shots are linear and draw the eye in deeper, this one feels circular, almost like a dartboard. All the lines feel to be pointing inwards, with the two poeople at the centre. After you have settled on them, then you re released again, t absorb the outer parts.

I really like it.
I like the details and the colours.

Μαγεία. Τα λόγια είναι περιττά...
Προσπαθώ να πείσω την παρέα μου να πάμε μες στον Ιούνιο. Έτσι όπως πάει ο καιρός βλέπω σε μερικά χρόνια να είναι ανάμνηση το μέρος αυτό. Χιόνια με το σταγονόμετρο και ποτάμια που στερεύουν γινόμαστε σιγά σιγά.

Cette photo est superbe avec cette rivière aux reflets d'or. Je vois que c'est du sport pour passer dans ces gorges. Une photo qui me plait pour le paysage d'une grande beauté. Les deux personnages donnent l'animation et l'échelle.

Πράγματι, ο χρυσός δεν ξέρεις ποτέ που θα βρεθεί, και συχνά δεν έχει την μορφή που νομίζουμε. Σε αυτές τις δύσκολες συνθήκες (και όσοι δεν το έχουν δει δεν ξέρουν πόσο δύσκολες είναι οι φωτιστικές συνθήκες) έκανες πάλι το θαύμα σου.
