Photographer’s Note

Petites maisons du village de Kjerkfjorden, sur les rives du fjord du même nom. Dans le fond, la falaise sur le droite est Merraflestinden 484 moh et le sommet à gauche est Helvetestinden 602 moh. Helvete signifie enfer (ou quelque chose s'y rapprochant) en norvégien, donc le pic d'enfer...je n'ai pas d'explications à cela :)
Kjerkfjorden est l'un des 4 bras de Reinefjorden, sur l'île de Mosekenesøya, l'île la plus au sud des Lofoten. Les autres bras sont Bunesfjorden, Forsfjorden et Vorfjorden.

Belle photo de ce paysage norvégien.
De bien belles couleurs avec un cadrage bien équilibré.

That surely is a lovely place!
I can understand that when the clouds hang low and you don't see the top of the peak, you might think it goes straight to hell there somewhere above the clouds. Well, if you are living in the 15th century. Nice one!

Hello Samuel,

This is very eye-catching.
The bright red of the houses makes them a very good focal point. They contrast so well with the steep, towering, grey cliffs behind.

Lovely crisp images and nicely saturated colours. The simple frame complements it very well.

Voici une vue typiquement norvegienne qui me plait evidemment beaucoup. Mais si en plus elle a ete prise aux Lofoten, alors la c'est la creme de la creme!
Le cadrage est extra et les couleurs bien prononcees, ce qui cree une belle carte postale.

Faut vraiment que j'aille en Norvège ! Ces montagnes ont des formes vraiment fascinantes et le cadrage vertical les rendent encore plus impressionnantes. J'aime également beaucoup les couleurs de la composition : du bleu, du vert et le rouge des maisons.

Wow, what a lovely place! The vertical composition is perfect here showing the height of the cliff and how small the houses are compared to it. The landscape is outstanding and you have presented it nicely. The lighting and colors are great with excellent sharpness and detail. The red houses stand out nicely against the background.

Why did you reduce the picture size by adding a big frame though?
