Photographer’s Note

Here is my tribute to the French Open. The stadium is named after Roland Garros, an early French aviator and a fighter aircraft pilot during World War I, who, on September 23, 1913, had become the first man to fly a plane over the Mediterranean Sea.
Today is the boys' single final, between R.Nadal and R.Federer once again.
The picture shows Jérémy Chardy, a 21 yo French player, during his defeat in 3 tights sets against Nicolás Almagro. However, he produced his best Grand Slam performance so far in his beginning career.
Unfortunately, no shadows for the photo, not too much sun in Paris that week end...
