Bonne compo a la mise au point selective qui donne beaucoup de relief, j'aime bien le graphisme de l'arriere plan et les couleurs chaudes. La Turquie regorge de fruits secs d'excellente qualité... je me rappelle avoir mangé des abricots secs trop delicieux!

Ah! So it's farewell to Cappadocia, Vince, I enjoyed your trip there. But this one I like a lot ; the use of DoF is perfect and amusing too.The focus on th dates makes them the main subject, but the seller and the shop floating in bokey make the perfect context. Where next? I wonder. Regards kevin

Two pyramids of dried fruits in the Egyptian Bazaar... Very nice cadrage, DOF and warm colours, a wonderful daily life shot that it's a temptation to the mouth, even if I can't figure out what is on the BG (in fact, I only recognise the dates of the FG).

A very fine, well taken shot, carefully set up for small depth of field. I like the composition very much, and the way you have enough sharpness on the face of the man to show his expression and make him part of the picture, not just the background. The sharply defined dates look delicioious. The atmosphere is very warm and inviting due to the colour balance. Nicely done.

J'ai les papilles en révolution. Il est difficile de ne pas réagir à tant de tentations, malheureusement toutes ces bonnes choses ne sont que sur une image. C'est bien proposé et bien photographié. Les couleurs chaudes ajoutent à l'exotisme. Beau travail.

la lumière artificielle fait un sacré travail ici. L'atmosphère est chaud et rend ces dattes et ces fruits séchés un aspect presque lumineux.
Tu as fait le bon choix, ce sont les dattes qui devaient être au focus.

Hi Vincent, I love the excellent DOF with the blurred background assisting the main subject to stand out, there is very good lighting & wonderful sharp focus, the overall composition is truly excellent, however I must disagree I hate dried fruit, love the photo though, kind regards Wilson.

Good choice of aperture here, Vincent, the DOF is perfect. All of the elements of this picture are well positioned in the frame and it's good that the shop keeper is looking away from the camera. Cheers . . . David
