This is a very nice composition with the two couples admiring the same view but in very different position/mood. The sepia gives a romantic feel to the scene. Well done.

I believe your decision to present this picture in sephia was right. The emotion is more reflected in sephia for the theme of picture.lovely picture.

Hi JP.
A simple but nicely composed shot, with the two couples well placed and the bird caught in the middle. I find the exposure and the tonality to be very pleasing, although perhaps the sepia is a little too red for me. But certainly a very fine demonstration of life's simplest and greatest pleasures.

Hi Jean, nice shot again from you, first i'd like to say that this image reminds me the power of the time, because the couple on the sand watching the life or listening to the love in the air, and the couple standing think about the life that they left behind.. time passes so fast that we getting older and older and the thoughts in our minds change, but in hearts never..
and the witness of the time between the two couples is the bird standing between them..

Jean I have to say that I really love the two couples in this setting, and its obvious that choices have been made here...who to share your life with and spend the balance of your living days together with.

beautifully composed photo, the smart use of strong diagonals going in both directions create both dynamism, but also calm and peace. and there's something about those carelessly dropped shoes to emphasise the relaxed mood. the sepia fits well, this is a very good work.

Jean Paul,
the monochromatic presentation in sepia gives a certain nostalgic feeling, but then the clarity and sharpness without any noise puts as in the 21st digital era. The mix of this modern and old technical aspects of photography is a very interesting one and I like it.
The composition of the two couples, one sitting and close together and the other two standing in the background is a very good one.

A very well produced composition.
The use of sepia always causes extra thoughts ... why, how is it better, does it work for this subject. The answer is, it does work. It focusses attention on the elements without the peripheral distractions.
