Barichara, From The Top

Following my tour of the Municipality of Barichara, in the wonderful land santandereanas, let me make this presentation takes.

Barichara is characterized by steep streets, developed entirely in stone, splendid colonial beauty.

The urban perimeter of Barichara is located on a plane gently undulating to the brink of a plateau, eastern foothills of the Andes, located on the right bank of the river Saravita today Suarez in the province of Guanentá, department of Santander.

Enclose a land area of 134 square kilometers, with fairly rugged terrain. Its height is more of the High Barichara to 1,861 meters

Its urban infrastructure is 1,336 meters above sea level, which gives a warm, dry climate of 23 degrees or so.

Barichara is located at a distance of 340 km from Bogota, 118, Bucaramanga and 20 San Gil, paved road.
