Your low POV works very well and the path makes a very strong lead-in. Your 15 second exposure allowed plenty of light onto the sensor, as without the stars it would be like daytime. (AND yes even I can recognise Orion! :D)

No proszę, Orion ja żywy :) dawno już nie oglądałem takich zdjęć. Świetna kolorystyka, kompozycja też bez zarzutu. Ale ale... Ty tu Oriona serwujesz a to chyba już powoli sezon na nocticulenty się zaczyna? ;) Będę do Ciebie zaglądał w ich poszukiwaniu.

Interesting for once to see a pure landscape with long exposure, as it adds an extra dimension to the scenery...

Witaj Henryku, jak pięknie widać Oriona. Nie zrobiłeś tam sam tych białych kropeczek:))? To mój ulubiony, jeden z niewielu, który rozpoznaję (a uczyłam kiedyś w liceum astronomii he he).
Wspaniały widok, śliczne kolory (czy to sit skucina? Czerwone Wierchy - dawno nie byłam, więc może się kompromituję) Też bym poszła taką ścieżką. Shy proposal jest skierowany raczej do Portugalczyków, ale ja bym się też skusiła. Miedzynarodowy meeting, Portugalia zimą... - byłoby fajnie.

Hi Henryk, I can only see the belt and the bottom 2 stars of Orion, if I am not mistaken. Beautifully shot and well captured. The mountains are ideal places fro capturing such shots because of the thin atmosphere that exists.

The path makes a good lead-in. Because of your long exposure, the stars (constellation) has come out fine. Funny, so early in the morning, you've got flare on the lens (bottom left). Like the sharpness overall & contrast. Well done!

Hi Henryk. What lens did you use for this shot? You have a huge DOF and lots of light but the edges are a little soft. I love the colours also. Well composed and thanks for sharing.

Przyzwyczailes nas do tego ze rzadko wypuszczasz nowe fotki ale jak juz to robisz to sa najwyzszej klasy, tez bym tak chcial ale narazie nie mam nawet takiego jednego zdjecia :)

Of course we will take care of you, Henryk :D If we had luck, there will be sunny days wich are great for photography in winter. Since you don't like cities, I can take you to some nice trekings along the coast. But bad weather shouldn't be a problem for you since you are used to it and also have a good camera for storms. Unfortunately, I don't have a mountain like this one for you here, but I can get some dunes and there's plenty of sea ;-)
Great perspective of the trail on top of the world, with Orion. I imagine you must be pretty good doing orientation with the stars...

Dobre, dobre zdjêcie!
Jako¶ tak kojarzy mi siê z ujêciem grzbietu jakiego¶ górskiego smoka ;). Tak powa¿nie, to podoba mi siê s±siedztwo zbr±zowia³ych, ¿ó³tych traw i ch³odnego koloru niebieskiego. Bardzo ³adnie to wygl±da. Podoba mi siê te¿ o¶wietlenie porankowe, warstwy mgie³ unosz±ce siê nad górami i ogólnie ca³y obraz.
Ooo Orion, to i ja poznajê tego my¶liwego po pasie ;).

Hello Henryk.
Good to know that you want to come to Portugal, from my side it would be a pleasure to 'take care of you' and of course Teresa would also go with us.
I think there isn't a great risk of bad weather in January we normally have nice mild days with a very nice light so maybe it would be a nice period to come up.
About the photo it's in the line you used us great care with the presentation with no flaws, and a beautiful view of the trail and mountains well completed with the Orion constelation in the sky which gives it that special touch of beauty if more was needed.
One more thing which i like are the details you bring up on the shadowed areas which are always very nice and avoid dark areas with no details at all.

Hello Henryk,

This remarkable shot showing the crest of the mountains is really very dramatic, and I am afraid I missed it when you posted it last month. The long exposure has revealed the constellation oh so dramatically, and it has also lit up the left side of the mountain, creating dramatic shadows beyond the crest.

Similar mountain scape in the Puy Mary in Auvergne, very interesting perspective with an interesting depht by the foreground..
The sky is too clear to see the Orion constellation.
