did you ever seen a picture from Gherardo delle Notti? This shot made me thinking about his Adorazione dei magi, here in Florence, at the Uffizi Museum!
Fantastic sharpness in the details of the candle and mystic light, with the golden little one and the blue reflection of the sky!

Very emotional, the suggestive power is very strong - the more so that it is so dark - so we can imagine better... Splendid light on the face of that woman, I remember your photos from a pilgrimage last year (taken early morning, if I remember well) : there was also a powerful atmosphere...

Do you like Baroque paintings?
Caravaggio, Rembrandt, Vermeer etc...
I do like them, and find your work as photographic reflections of those works of art.
This procession was indeed an inspiration for such artwork, and the results are just fantastic.
It would be great if we could add a whole "project" as a favourite. This one would be my very first to add.
