What a beautiful farm house you have discovered, Diane! The old walls tell stories to me and I can see a family sitting around a huge table sharing wine and pasta, escaping from the heat of the day. You had fantastic light and I don't care what camera you had, it has no meaning. It couldn't be more summer ... wonderful! Barbara.

You are right about the light, it's sensational.
I very much like the outlines of the trees, particularly the first on the right-hand side which seems to have loss the leaves!

Hello Diane, This is a lovely 'slice' of the Sicilian landscape. The gold of the field and the walls against the storm clouds is a winning combination. The panoramic format suits the subject well.

Tu as raison la lumière de cette photo est superbe
J'aime bien la composition de l'ensemble avec les deux lignes de couleurs opposées séparées par la ferme et les arbres.

Parfois la qualité il faut savoir la laisser de c^té surtout quand on vit un tel moment.Comme toi j'aime les lumières et j'aurais été en admiration devant ce paysage et l'ambiance que donne ce ciel sombre.Quels contrastes!La vieille ferme semble vêtue de l'or des blés
Bonnes vacances à toi aussi.J'allais fermer le pc ,partant plus tôt que prévu, mais n'ai pu résister devant cette photo

Le matériel ne fait pas tout pour une belle photo, la preuve !
J'aime cette lumière qui semble venir du sol alors que le ciel est très sombre. Le champ du premier plan et la bâtisse sont dans les mêmes tons, ceux d'une terre brûlée.

You are right, the photo is not that great because it is a bit over sharpened and also there is a halo around the trees. However, the POV is good as it is too the compo. I like the dramatic sky and the good light in the foreground.

nice the landscape view in Sicily,but as you write in your note the quality of the shot is not the best.I believe that this camera is a good one and in the landscape can capture beautiful photos.Perhaps the post processing to influence adversely the quality.

oui la qualité n'est pas terrible tu nous as habitué a mieux, j'ai l'impression que ca manque de netteté et le ciel est trop saturé ou tu l'as trop travaillé les arbres ont des traces bizarres, mais c'est vrai la lumière était nickel et le compact a fait ce qu'il a pu et c'est la qu'on s'aperçoit de l'intéret du reflex

yes, definitely a decisive moment, the colour of the sky is amazing, especially in combination with the golden fields below. I see what you mean by "not fantastic quality", I seem to detect some artifacts around the trees, but the light makes up for it. perfect timing!

dommage que l'on voir si fort que tu as accentué la noirceur du ciel pour rendre la scène plus drzmatique, mais qu'importe, elle est impressionnate et j'aime beaucoup.
La lumière ici, nait du champs.
