[Ligne directrice - Note] Note du photographe
The old souk in the Bastakiah area of Dubai lies quiet and deserted in the early morning just after sunrise before the start of the hustle and bustle of the day.

The design of the roof follows the pointed arch theme which has been characteristic of middle eastern architecture for centuries.

I liked the strong play of light and shadow in the rafters and the converging lines of the scene. I also tried to capture the quietness and almost desolation of this space, which for the greater part of the day is a hive of activity and noise.

Hi JP,
here is an interesting and cosy place for business and cafes. Unfortunate that the people are missing. Certainly here in evening hours much going on.

Hi JP, isn't it a beautiful place, you've included every thing need to be seen to learn about this place; the Old flooring, the wooden arches, the old style shop fronts and design. i cannot say well done to a teacher but allow me to say "MABROOK" mate.
Sam.
