after the break from conference i have take a walk around the this building and found this interesting thing
Naga is an popular artwork that's Asian country especially, Thai, Laos, Cambodia and so on, like to construct to decorate a monastery
usually with a Bot(ordination hall). it is very nice artwork, but everyday they like to decorate also building or an important places

Hello Chirasak,
Naga in Malay means dragon. I guess it's also a Thai word. Good colors and camera control over lighting. Nice blue sky & clouds. Regards. Latiff.

It's a nice and very typical detail of thai buildings, Bukgee. The serpent was worshiped in SE Asia before Buddhism. But the naga was supposed to be the protector of the Buddha in the legend. Here the serpent looks very lovely against the wispy white clouds. Regards Ajarn

Hi Chirasak,
Wonderful POV to capture the lovely intricate details of these carvings of the dramatic dragons.
The red roof is seen in fine warm ligh and contrast beautifully with the silver blue sky.

I hope your New Year 2009 will be very good for you and family. The Lunar New Year is also coming later this month, so wish you a happy and prosperous one.

This is a nice shot of the decorative element to the roof top and it symbolizes monastery's presence. Good composition in vertical to show the roof style and the diagonal lines including a space for the blue sky.
