Here you can see another view of this native cactus.
This shot was took in that same landscape you saw in my last posts, this same tree was shown some days ago. Thousands years ago my region was a big desert, then the soil was broke and the magma go out, covering everything with ashes and volcanic stones and creating our red soil. After many time the weather became more humid and some life appeared, that arid weather last for more time until another swap of climate and then the hight humidity brought a huge sub-tropical forest for us. These cactus survived in the top of the rocky hills where the soil was tiny and the trees couldn't grow so hight and during the droughts they could survive while the trees around had problems to find water. Nowadays humans modified the landscape once more and we can find this cactus surviving once more.

Mais uma vista daquele mesmo cactus nativo.
Esta imagem foi tirada no mesmo local já visto por vocês nas últimas postagens, esta árvore já foi mostrada há alguns dias. -- Há milhares de anos a minha região era um imenso deserto, a terra rachou e o magma aflorou, cobrindo tudo com cinzas e rochas vulcânicas e criando a nossa terra vermelha. Com o passar do tempo o clima foi ficando um pouco mais úmido e alguma vegetação conseguiu crescer, mas anos se passaram até que a umidade fosse grande o suficiente para trazer a floresta sub-tropical para cá. Estes cactus sobreviveram ao novo ambiente por estarem no topo das colinas rochosas onde as árvores da floresta não podiam crescer no solo raso e nos nos de seca os cactus conseguiam sobreviver melhor que elas. O homem modificou ainda uma vez a paisagem e os cactus continum aqui, sobrevivendo.
