Sunsets have always been a favourite subject of mine. The same sun sets everyday, yet no two sunsets are similar. One can shoot the setting sun from the same spot every evening with quite varied results each time.

This picture was shot near my hometown of Siliguri at the Mahananda barrage at Fulbari. The place is a huge reservoir where the water of the mighty Teesta river, brought in through a canal, meet the Balason and Mahananda rivers. The place is frequented by migratory birds during the winter months.

Hello Nabarun,
Yes, I'm the same about sunsets. Isn't nature incredible. You have made a fine capture here, everything is working perfectly. What a shame you have to have those man made electricity towers in your shot, somehow spoils the wonderful mood you have captured. Lovely stuff though.
