[Ligne directrice - Note] Note du photographe
The two-and-a-quarter-mile Tay Bridge spans the Firth of Tay between the city of Dundee and the suburb of Wormit in Fife. The present one was built after the first bridge collapsed during a violent storm on December 28, 1879, taking with itself a train and 75 lives. The remnants of the original bridge piers are still visible even a high tide.

What a great picture. I specialy like the low profile atmosphere and the softness of the composition. Very good.

Take care
Nuno

Hi Peter,

Great exposure control. Such a soft light...makes the bridge silhouette very beautiful.

Kind regards,

Natalia

Hello Peter,

You're showing us here that in hazy weather, with a limited amount of vision and no real big eye catchers in the foreground, you can still manage to make a very interesting photograph! Very nice. Wonderful softness, combined with stil good detail of the bridge. Thanks for sharing!

Greetings,
Dennis

Hello Peter, A lovely subtle and enigmatic image with beautiful pearly colours. I am relieved that you spared us McGonagall's poem 'The Tay Bridge Disaster ' in your notes! :-)
Best wishes....Maggie
