People like the ones in my photo can sing, those who have the wherewithal to travel and soak up the atmosphere of various ports around the world. Dubrovnik is such one port, where more and more people are congregating and enjoying the city's history, ambiance and the region's lovely climate. For me to visit my homeland from Down Under costs a fortune, so instead, I look at my photos.

This is yet again beautifully composed and is fresh with colours and textures. I like the pov and the way the colours have been nuanced. Lovely work indeed.

Kakva fotka! :) Nadam se da cu jednom videti taj prelepi grad! Vidim da je ovo snimljeno u oktobru, a izgleda kao u sred leta - samo sto je leti, predpostavljam, veca guzva. Svidja mi se prizor jer se vidi i arhitektura, i setaliste i ovi kafici gde se vidi da ljudi uzivaju. A kako i ne bi :) Prelepo!

It seems that Croatia is full of jewels... This place is very beautiful and the atmosphere looks so pleasant. Your composition enhances well those things. For us who have the chance of not being far away, I think we should go before that tourism became too massive !

Thanks for remind me the beauty of Dubrovnik through your excellent shot.
The Placa, this long and marvelous paved-stone street, is the symbol of the historic town and you present it in the better way.
Colors are great and natural, and the perfect quality of the image enhances the architectural heritage.
You've captured also a very pleasant mood, inherent to holidays.
I see you've took this photo in october... This period is certainly more enjoyable for tourism than in summer.

I've often wanted travel to Croatia, but have never seemed to have got round to it. Having sen your lovely view of this pretty street in Dubrovnik, I'm even more determined to go. The compo is great, the mood is relaxing, and definitely those people must be enjoying themselves in the tranquil atmosphere. Well captured.

Your composition is great here using the walls on both side of the street to lead the eye to the tower at the end of the plaza. The lighting and colors are great with excellent sharpness and DOF. The people at the tables seem to be enjoying the atmosphere and the shade in this very lovely town.

Unmistakeable and unforgettable Dubrovnik! I was fortunate to visit it some years ago (only weeks before the war broke out) My memories are precious ones - particularly as I probably could not afford to stay there now!
I am glad, however, that the city has been restored so skillfully.
Your shot captures the colours and ambience of the place beautifully.

I love that harmonious architecture, I know those long looong flights are not only exhausting, now they are also getting expensive, and definitely unpleasant, but still worth it. The shiny stone pavement is so clean, the opposite of San Francisco.

It's over 20 years since I was in Dubrovnik but as soon as I saw the shiny paving stones I knew where it was. You composed the image well using the perspective to good advantage to lead the eye all the way to the bell tower at the end.

J'ai visité cette magnifique ville en octobre 2007 et c'est toujours la même magie des vieilles pierres et de la belle lumière qui opère. Ta photo rend parfaitement cette atmosphère de fête qui se dégage de la ville.

I've never been to Croatia, but the more I learn about it, the more I want to go. seems like a place with just the right combination of sophistication and relaxed mood, something I like a lot.
the photo is great, no question about that. I like a lot the strong tunnel perspective with the blue sky as a reward at the end, although traveling through that tunnel with all the caffees doesn't seem to be to hard :) lovely shot, my compliments.

The neatness in the image impresses me. The curious eues of the onlookers often make the photogaphers a little bit nervous.
One more thing I admire here is the exposure of the sky.......superb.

Every time I see a picture of Dubrovnik I think that it is time to go there.
This one is partcularly of my taste, I am sure I would also shoot people in cafés: I appreciate the fact that here we have sunlight and shades and that they are well combined without harsh spots of contrast.

I can guess that you miss Dubrovnik! A beautiful town, one of the most beautiful in Adriatic Sea.
Here you captured a very good view, shadows and lights are perfect so we can appreciate the relaxing atmosphera. Nice to see bell tower over such a blue sky.

Hi Klaudio.
A very fine shot and excellent exposure which allows the well lit and shaded areas to coexist nicely with good detail in each. I particularly like the shiny paving in this (and other shots of Dubrovnik)and the colourful assemblage of people enjoying cafe life. The tower is placed just right in the frame and the perspective effect is very pleasing.

Beautiful vista with the tower at the end. The people at the FG cafe provide lots of colours and add life to this wonderful photo. Exposure is great too especially with the diffused sun light bouncing off from the facade on the left.

Gledam deka sekogash koga e leto na ovaa hemisfera, tebe te fakja nostalgija po ubaviot Jadran...
Dubrovnik! Se raduvam deka ovaa godina kje go vidam ovaj prekrasen grad, odam Crna Gora na odmor, no kje "skoknam" i do Dubrovnik.
Prekrasna fotografija, odlichno dolovena prepoznatlivata hrvatska arhitektura vo eden lezheren stil, chovek samo bi posakal da se najde tamu i da ispie edno utrinsko kafe vo dobro drushtvo:)
Sigurno kje se setam na ovaa scena koga kje proshetam po ulicite na ovoj grad...
Mnogu pozdrav Daddo, zhal mi e shto retko navrakjam.
