Day on the River Photo

Photographer’s Note

I took this from our raft looking back up the Elk River towards the Three Sisters mountains.

There was little white water on this stretch of the river but it made for a relaxing day just floating along. The views from the river were outstanding, in such a heavily forested area being out on the river gives one a little more space to see around. Great just to watch the scenery unfold around every bend in the river...

Beautifull classical landscape : water, woods and mountains in the background. Nice composition and nice colored blue, red and yellow boat.

Yep, my kind of thumbnail and my kind of shot. The kind of place I want to be all the time - with a camera. Good catch and composition. The boat adds a lot as contrast to the landscape.
