Sunset over Labuan Bajo Photo

Photographer’s Note

Labuan Bajo is the principal port on the west side of Flores. It is where you can catch a ferry to Sumbawa or a small boat to take you to Komodo and Rinca. Quite a touristy town there are several resteraunts overlooking the water. This was taken fom one of them.

Wow... this is very good! The purpel on it contrasting with the orange is wonderful!

Wow Stephen ... You have done a very good photo here. I specifically like you imaginative point of view toward the sunset and mid lake perspective. This is a crisp, well contrasted, colorful shot. You have also just the right amount of gamma (light) and it aids in seeing details and perspective. Great work. I am relatively new to TE. This is a very nice sunset. Colours in the sky are really beautiful and I like boats' shadows in the foreground.

Although the sun itself is not visible but the scene created here in this photo is truely fantastic, very warm and natural colours of the sky , good FG lighting, excellent details(even the paddle of the canoe is visible). Well done, Steve.
