This shot was taken from the cabin "Ennstaler Hütte" in the mountains of the "Gesäuse". The closest peak is the "Tamischbachturm" with a height above 2000mas.

Hello Andreas,

Wondering why you do not get more reactions here with those nice tonings and depth. I might have made the front rock a bit darker, so it was all silouettes without too much detail - the detail being only on the edges and in the clouds.
But I also like it as it is.

toller Panoramablick, die vielen Blau-Schattierungen bauen eine schöne Spannung auf, die sich dan im Orange auflöst.

what a refreshing hour to be up at :)
i agree, it would look great with a contre-jour effect as well, as Dennis suggested. however, i also like this as it is, with a few details visible and the clouds between the mountains. the scenery is breathtaking and the light and colors spectacular. well seen. well done.
