Rovinj (Italian: Rovigno; Istriot: Ruvèigno) is a city in Croatia situated on the north Adriatic Sea with a population of 13,562 (2007). It is located on the western coast of the Istrian peninsula and is a popular tourist resort and an active fishing port. Istriot, a Romance language once widely spoken in this part of Istria, is still spoken by part of the residents (also called Rovignese by those who speak it here). There is a centre of History Research which is an institution of the Council of Europe.

Hi Agnes,
beautiful picture from Croatia with very nice soft colours
and light, calm mood and interesting pov. Interesting architecture also of the houses built by the sea. Bravo.

two small things .. I wish the sea felt level .. I wish the buildings were a bit brighter .. that said ..
this image strikes me immediately .. it seems to have such a purpose .. the sense of the weathered buildings against the infinity of the sea and sky .. beautiful color ... I would be careful fixing the issues not to neuter the power you have created .. take care, John

nice shot from a nice place that remind me a little bit the 'little Venice' in Mykonos island,in Greece.
