Alchi, Leh-Ladakh - altitude 3165 m

Alchi is a beautiful and calm village situated at the south bank of Indus, about 70km west of Leh in Ladakh.
There is Alchi Choskhor Gompa(monastery) that is one of the treasure houses of world-famous buddhist art, but not allowed to take photos currently.

Hi Hisashi,
Again almost neighbours today !
I like the clouds, they are contrasting so well againt the deep blue high altitude sky, but the view is nice at ground level too, very luminous rendering on the house and surroundings.

This picture makes me smile because of the cheerful colors. I like the fluffy clouds above the white and orange house, with the prayer flags on the balcony. Very nice composition.

This is excellent Hisashi, the use of the wide lens conjugate with your maestria in PP makes the difference. Such an exotic place for me .. hmm i would eat this chamallow cloud :-)
