End Summer Look...

I don't know if you have made the same experience like me; in many summer resorts throughout Turkey, people feed unattented dogs or cats with the rests of their food. Some chicken or meat bones etc..
And than when the summer ends, people move away back to their winter houses all those animals are been left over to their faith ; similar scenes can be seen everywhere. I made this capture end of 2006 in Urla near İzmir. This dog made a hole through the fly net in the door to the kitchen of the house (from where it got food throughout the summer months) and was patiently waiting for his "doggy pack" !!

Sizler de benim yaşadıklarıma benzer şeyler yaşamışsınızdır mutlaka; Türkiyedeki pek çok yazlık sitede, yaz boyunca, sahipsiz kedi ve köpekler yemek artıkları ile beslenir..
Sonra yaz biter, insanlar kışlıklarına dönerler, hayvanlara bakanlar birden yokolunca bu ve benzeri sahneler görmeye başlarız. Bu kareyi 2006 yılı sonunda Urlada çektim. Yaz boyunca beslendiği mutfak kapısındaki sinek telinden, burnunun geçeceği kadar bir delik açmış ve sabırla "rızkını" bekliyor.

This is a trully outstanding photo, amazing "portrait" of this beautiful dog with the melancholic eyes, really fitting with the feeling that comes when summer ends! muthis birsey yakalamissiniz. thumbnailde kopegin etrafindaki telleri photoshop marifeti sandim, soyut birsey gibi duruyordu. bu sevimli ve yaratici kareyi fazla uzun bekletmissiniz ama yolladiginiza sevindim. en hos fotograflariniz arasinda.

Great photo Mesut. Not only the predominance of the blue color is nice, but you also achieved a lot of emotion through the eyes of that doggy friend. I like your centered composition, grabbing all attention to where it should be. Very very good indeed.

Bir ben kalmışım görmeyen,bu ne güzel şey böyle!!gördüğüm en güzel portelerden biri,ağız burun hokka gibi,gözler inanılmaz anlamlı. Evcil hayvan bakımı çocuktan zor ve ciddi sorumluluk gerektiren bir iş,bakamayacak olan 3-5 ay sonra ortada bırakacaksa baştan almasın.Bizim kızımızın muhabbet kuşundan başkası yok o bile bir yere gidip döndüğümüzde küsüyor,hemen şakımıyor.Köpekler resmen insan gibi,dahada anlayışlı ve duygulu ,karşı komşumuzun golden red riverindan biliyorum tek eksiği konuşmaması.Bu güzeller güzelide o bakışlarla neler anlatıyor kimbilir.Elinize sağlık harika bir paylaşım olmuş.Selanlarımla

Terrible, you make me think of my dog friend-waiting for my return to Cappadocia : as his owner lives in Istanbul and never feeds him, I give him food when I'm there but it's heartbreaking to have to leave this old friend so often - although in that case, there are plenty of pensions around and he knows some good addresses too...
Fortunately, they are very intelligent when it comes to surviving !

Einem solchen Blick kann ja wohl kaum jemand widerstehen. Ich bin mir sicher, dass der von allen gefüttert wird. Sehr gelungenes Hundefoto. Die Art und Weise, wie er da durch das Netz schaut, ist wirklich einmalig.

les moments de l'été pour eux sont durs et c'est honteux
mais dans ce regard plein de tendresse, on ne peut que fondre

A sad reality that unfortunaly we can observe at many countrys. Many people think that this only happens at south european countrys but even here at the Netherlands we have the same problem at the summer. Fortunaly here we have sheltters where de dogs and cats can stay until they get adopted. But that takes many money and don't solve the problem. A mind chancging is needed!!
Thanks for paying attention to this problem with this wonderful full of emotion image.

so much sadness in those intelligent eyes..and yes,i give them food.around my house are five cats and one dog..if will be after my mind take all in house,but my husband said 'no':)

saw a documentary with a family of cats living in the area Hiroshima.radiance.still,is life there..and this family of cats eats what they found.
long time ago,they lived in wild..now everywhere you look are pets.know someone that have a lion-pet,just because have money ..
will be fine,know this:)
