Photographer’s Note

I'd always assumed that the blank wall of glass that forms part of the Legend hotel at PWTC KL had unopenable windows, until last Monday.

Superb.Did you make it deliberately black & white in order to give more focus on the open window? But the blue background (sky's refelction in the glass )would have further enhanced the photo. Great photo.

PS: Probably the janitor decided to have a smoke :). We do this in our glass office building ... open the window by the staircase.

When I opened this photo it was from the top down and I finally came to the open window at the bottom. Goodness gracious if I were working there every window would be open! Excellent work Richard!

Very nice one, Richard. Graphical minimalism at its best, and apt choice to go b&w. The open window is well placed in the LL corner. Well seen.

I love this photo with the broken symmetry. Good eye, imaginative capture. It works well in B&W, without any distracting colors.

Good detail and eye to see the open window that with out it, the picture hasn’t any interest.
