Man at work.
Man and his hard work in Paradise landscape.
For me, person who is feeding by the food unpacked from plastic or paper cover.. such a scene seems ultra exotic..
Back to basis..
Like the idea and a certain rythm of elements breaking the sea waves. Splendid choice od B&W

Hi Partha, this is a good composition, with the stark b & w figures and the flowing curve of the nets. An interesting shot of people in their working environment, which I suppose is one of the goals of trekearth (to show us how others live). Perhaps the sky is just s bit too white and burnt-out, but that's a minor point. It's still a very good shot. Regards,

Excellent photo. Speaks volume about the coastal poor. A bigger aperture with a different shutter speed (say 1/600) propably would have made the photo sharper?.

what a shot! I like the choice of black and white to stress the hardness of what you correctly call "struggle".
so we are not disturbed by colours...we just focus on their heavy burden

This B&W is simply awesome.
The inclination of the fishermen and how they are parabolically connected with the nets create a beautiful aesthetical graphic. The natural perspective is incredible.

your compo and pov reflect their struggle very well. bw is the right choice here in that it hides the not-so-interesting sky and it strenghtens the atmosphere.
