Photographer’s Note

the famous and awesome lighthouse in front of sultanahmet mosque. I took this photo while going to work I cant give you a lot of historical information but I can tell you at least that if you walk from sirkeci following seaside you can reach this lighthouse

I like this one, especially for the
composition; you strategically placed
the main two subjects very well. Water
in the foreground has a slight 'turbulance'
which I like. The colors are vivid, and
the scene looks beautiful.

Hi emre,
nice shot.Good light,contrast,POV,composition idea.A small level of noise can be seen on top of the photo (clouds area),but it can be easily corrected in PS.

Merhaba, Emre.
It's a apectacular view of the European part of Istanbul. I'we walked this seaside street on foot along the ancient wall. Did you shoot it from a boat?
You gave me an idea - one of these days I'll post a closer view of the lighthouse from behind the corner and I'll make a link to your photo to explain how it looks from the sea.
