Photographer’s Note

Kenmare Bay as seen from the Ring of Kerry.

Ring of Kerry is a coastal route around the Iveragh Peninsula in County Kerry. There are plenty of jaw dropping spots on the way.

When I took there a friend of mine visiting from abroad, he said he heard this is a tourist trap, very commercialized. Much to his surprise we were stuck in traffic jam caused by cows which were running freely on the roads (labeled as national roads).

There are other routes along neighboring peninsulas called "rings" as well e.g. Ring of Beara, but in my opinion the Ring of Kerry is certainly the most spectacular (lord of the rings).
